Sometimes your videos may need to get flipped or turned around to make you video look just right. Or you might need to change the way a video was shot. We’ve all had the experience of trying to shoot a video in landscape only for the phone or tablet to render it as a vertical video. The Rotate/Mirroring tool is perfect for these situations.

The Rotate/Mirroring tool can be used with videos, images, effects, overlays, text, and handwriting layers. To use the Rotate/Mirroring tool, tap on a layer to select it. Then tap the Rotate/Mirroring button that appears in the panel that opens on the right side of the screen.

The Rotate/Mirroring tool has four options.

• Flip Horizontal (top left button)

This flips your layer across a vertical plane, putting the right side on the left and vice-versa.

• Flip Vertical (top right button)

This flips your layer across a horizontal plane, putting the top on the bottom, and vice-versa.

• Rotate Counter-clockwise

This will rotate your layer 90 degrees counter-clockwise. This is incredibly helpful when your vertical video was recorded as a landscape video. It can also be used to fit horizontal videos to a vertical format, in some cases.

• Rotate Clockwise

This will rotate your layer 90 degrees clockwise.
